Auto picks the native layout per work: double-page for Japanese manga, long-strip for manhwa / manhua / webtoons. Override here to force a single mode everywhere. Double-page falls back to single-page on narrow screens automatically.

Japanese manga read right-to-left by convention. Auto handles that per edition; set explicitly if you prefer one or the other everywhere.

Order the medium blocks on the home page. The leading block also drives the hero carousel above them.
